FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club

HA LONG , VIETNAM

This project is located overlooking a UNESCO World Heritage site and has some of the most spectacular views in the world. The course is situated on a very difficult site with extensive rock and elevation changes over 120 meters. CADSULT was able to design the system so only one booster pump was required and utilized a flooded suction pump station along with a transfer pump from a lower reservoir.

NICKLAUS CLUB BEIJING

BEIJING, CHINA

This project has become one of the best courses in all of Asia, being named a finalist of International Development of the Year in 2014. This redevelopment of an existing 18 course made use of hundreds of recycled irrigation heads that were only a couple of years old to save on capital costs. Detailed cost benefit analysis was performed to determine the most appropriate use of funds for the project that has become one of CADSULT’s crown jewels.

Case Studies

Stonehill Estate

Bangkok, Thailand

CADSULT were given the brief that this project had the goal of being one of the best golf clubs in Asia. The design team was world class and the end result exceeded all expectations. The irrigation systems cover over 80 hectares of turf and landscape in total, all centrally controlled with a dedicated pump station for both the golf and landscape components. Stonehill was selected as the first LIV golf venue in Asia and was immediately ranked in the top 50 in Asia Pacific upon opening. The attention to detail for turf conditions and playability rivals any other club in Asia and this has turned into one of the crown jewels in our portfolio.
