AUSTRALIAN ISLAMIC
COLLEGE – HENLEY BROOK

PERTH, AUSTRALIA

The Australian Islamic College (AIC) is a co-educational institution offering classes from Kindy to year 12. They have a number of sites around Perth and Cadsult has undertaken the irrigation design for both the Forrestdale and Henley Brook campuses. The design tackled a number of challenges like high iron content in bore water and limited yield due to the aquifer formation at the site location. With the implementation of a genuine ‘Elliots’ brand iron filtration system and two water storage tanks, we ensured pristine hardscapes and a reliable water supply, even during peak demand. Our bespoke space-saving submersible pump station design keeps the campus green without sacrificing on valuable space.

REGENT HOLIDAY INN RESORTS

CANGGU, BALI

A fresh Balinese vacation experience in Canggu offering luxury through craftsmanship and design, inspired by tradition and contemporary ideas. Working alongside a terrific project team, Cadsult undertook the irrigation design for two resorts which were being developed simultaneously, namely the Regent and The Holiday Inn. Cadsult undertook the design of the automated irrigation system using the latest Rain Bird irrigation technology. Our client was specific that they wanted to raise the irrigation standard from what is typically installed in the region, setting the bar for their projects going forward. Our design was to integrate with the sites new pump and filtration station and deliver water throughout the sites.

Fiona Stanley Hospital

Perth, Australia

Fiona Stanley Hospital, completed in December 2013, is the largest building project ever undertaken for the Government of Western Australia. The landscaped areas woven throughout the precinct play a crucial role in the hospital’s functionality and clinical results. These green spaces are present at ground level and span five stories across the hospital’s eight buildings. Features such as lakeside parklands, rehabilitation courtyards, lush rooftop gardens, and urban plazas blend seamlessly with the architecture, providing a continuous connection to nature for patients, staff, and visitors. Cadsult undertook the irrigation design for a number of these landscaped areas including the rooftop garden, irrigation lake, surrounds and streetscapes.

Marina Bay Sands

Singapore

This grand development located in the Singapore CBD marks the entrance of gaming into Singapore to cement the city as a premier destination in Asia. CADSULT was responsible for the master planning, detail design and construction observation for the entire project, including the convention center, casino, theaters, external promenade and flyovers as well as the three hotel towers complete with a 300 meter “Sky Garden” located 57 stories about the ground. Intricate coordination with the various other consultants made this project extremely challenging but it has certainly become a crown jewel for CADSULT as well as the city of Singapore.

Narrows Fountain, John Oldham Reserve

Perth, Australia

Following the decommissioning of the Southern Cross fountain, the City of Perth commissioned the new “Narrows” fountain as a striking replacement. Shore-based infrastructure allows for easy maintenance, while seven multi-nozzle heads create dramatic white water columns. With 378 nozzles and brilliant night lighting, the 3m-wide fountain captivates viewers from Kings Park by day or night. In addition to enhancing aesthetics, it also improves water quality by increasing dissolved oxygen levels.

Perth Children’s Hospital - Greenspace

Perth, Australia

CADSULT was thrilled to be a part of this incredible project, not only because of its iconic location but also knowing the impact this project would have on the children. Cadsult undertook the irrigation design of this space, connecting into an existing bore. One of the main considerations for this design was locating the valve boxes out of sight of curious eyes and so these were cleverly concealed behind the existing irrigation compound. The project saw a transformation from a bare patch of grass into a stunning, healing nature-space that will have a huge impact on WA’s sick kids and their families for generations to come.
